Bhopal: During the lockdown, on-screen technology for professional and personal life is being widely used among the city's start-ups, entrepreneurs, business owners and management experts. Using Zoom webinar technology these professionals are attending lectures, group discussions, interactions and presentations to learning how to manage their businesses during lockdown.
Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Young Indians and AIC-RNTU have already organized two such live sessions in which more than 225 entrepreneurs participated.
According to Siddharth Chaturvedi, chair, CII, Bhopal, even though the lockdown has stopped outdoor movements, which is necessary, video platforms like Zoom are helping us to utilize lockdown period to learn and solve business issues. We have recently conducted two learning sessions in which more than 225 people participated in each session. In the first live session, held on April 3, from 4 to 5.30 pm, Professor Satyajit Majumdar of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, gave tips on business strategy during crisis.
Chaturvedi further informed that the second live session was held on April 10, which was addressed by noted financial expert and chartered accountant Dr. Anil Lamba. The theme of the session was Romancing the Balance Sheet, in which he gave information about the problems related to accountancy and financial management. About 234 members participated in this session and got their queries resolved.
