Bhopal: Water Resources Minister Hukum Singh Karada has informed that a solar park group of ambitious solar power plants of Madhya Pradesh will be established in Shajapur district as a source of non-conventional energy. A total of 450 MW of electricity will be generated every day by the establishment of solar park on the waste land of 1272.822 ha area of ​​total 11 villages of Barodia tehsil. The cost of this project is about Rs 1800 crores. Representatives of various companies wishing to set up solar parks, including 6 foreign companies, today viewed the land reserved for solar parks.

Representatives of ENEL Green Power, Rising Sun Energy, BHEL, GAIL, Eden Renewable Energy, Victor Green Company, Tata Power Renewable Energy, NTPC, Juniper Green Energy, Renew Power Pvt. Ltd., AMP Energy, S.B. Energy, Angel Solar, JSW Energy, Spring Energy, Aeon Energy and Solar Pack Energy Company inspected the reserved land for solar park.

For Solar Park, a total of 391.922 hectare land has been identified in 164.61 hectare in Hanauti village in Shajapur tehsil, 53.74 hectare in Surajpur and 173.572 hectare in Lalpur. Likewise 53.24 ha in Javadi village of Barodia tehsil, 137.02 ha in Parsula, 22.62 ha in Favka, 218.2 ha in Dhatravada, 154.66 ha in Dehripal. 55.5 ha in Chauma, 95.23 ha in Burlai and 144.43 hectares in Bijankhedi that is a total of 880.9 hectare land has been identified. Thus, a total of 1272.822 hectare land has been identified in 11 villages of Shajapur and Mohd. Badodia tehsil.

With the special efforts of Karada, this project has come up in Shajapur district. The solar park is targeted to be completed by March 2022. Electricity distribution companies of the state will be provided electricity from this solar park and consumers will get electricity from there. He said that with the setting up of the plant, the energy requirements of the state will be met and the region will develop.
