Bhopal: Chief Minister Kamal Nath while presenting the crop loan waiver certificates to the farmers in Rau area of Indore, said that the crop loan waiver has increased the purchasing power of the farmers. He said that the agricultural sector also increases economic activity. Kamal Nath said that the state government is moving in the direction to bring a new revolution in the agriculture sector. The Chief Minister dedicated and laid foundation of development works costing over Rs. 900 crore in the programme. He also launched agriculture based ‘Shubh-Labh Khet Kundli App and handed over the keys of tractors to 2 farmers under the DBT scheme, on subsidy.
The Chief Minister said that the state will no longer be identified with the mafia. The campaign against the mafia will be continued. We will change the identity of the state by making the future of farmers, youth and people of the state bright. He said that the metro work in Indore will be carried out at a fast pace, it is a big medium of investment. This project will provide work to the youth and other citizens. With increasing economic activities, the prospects of development will also increase.
The Chief Minister said that the thinking and attitude of the youth of the state is different. They have a yearning to work. We will strengthen the hands of the youth. Unemployment of youth will be removed by increasing economic activities in the state.
The Minister for Higher Education and Youth Welfare Jeetu Patwari and Minister for Home and Jail Bala Bachchan also addressed the programme.
MLAs Vishal Patel, Kunal Chowdhary, other public representatives, distinguished persons and citizens in large number were present on the occasion.
